Dare imageOn Thursday, March 29th, Superintendent Diaz met with Chief LaVigne and Detective Sgt. Holovacko regarding the revival of the DARE Program.  Detective Sgt. Holovacko has completed the DARE training and will serve as the lead instructor for the program within the South Amboy Public Schools.

The program will be offered to both 5th and 6th grade students for the remainder of this school year, and will be primarily targeting 5th graders in subsequent years.  DARE classes began during the week of April 16th.  The program will run for 45 minutes per week, per class, for 10 weeks with a graduation ceremony at the end of the school year.  We are excited to get this program started!
